About Plump
A skincare app that actually pays attention to your skin.
Most skincare advice is generic. You read a blog post about “what’s in your cleanser,” buy what an influencer recommends, and then wait six weeks to find out if anything happened. Plump is built to skip that.
What Plump actually does
Plump is a personalized AI skincare app. You take a selfie. The app analyzes your skin and identifies what’s going on — redness, breakouts, dryness, uneven texture, dark spots, the works — and rates each concern by severity. From there, it builds a daily routine targeted at those specific concerns.
You can re-scan whenever you want. As your skin changes, the routine adjusts. If something isn’t working, you ask Plump’s AI skincare chat, and it suggests what to swap.
Why we built Plump
Skincare advice should be cheap, specific, and shame-free. We don’t care if your routine is three steps or twelve — we care that what’s in it is actually doing something for your face. Plump exists to take the gambling out of buying skincare products.
How the AI works
Plump’s skin analysis combines computer vision (to identify visible concerns) with a recommendation engine that maps those concerns to ingredients and products. The model isn’t a dermatologist — it’s a skin coach. For diagnosable medical conditions, see one in person.
Your photos and scan history live under your account and are never sold. You can delete individual scans, your full history, or your entire account from inside the app.
Who’s behind Plump
Plump is built in Canada by a small independent team. We’re focused on skincare — not five categories of wellness — because doing one thing well beats doing five things okay.
